Ce qui avait déjà fuité ces derniers jours a été confirmé officiellement. Kevin-Prince Boateng poursuit sa carrière au Hertha BSC et signe un nouveau contrat.
Le milieu de terrain de 35 ans a prolongé d’une année supplémentaire avec le club berlinois, soit jusqu’en juin 2023. Boateng est revenu dans son club de toujours l’été dernier et a disputé 21 matchs officiels au cours de la saison écoulée. Il a été très important en tant que leader, surtout dans la phase finale du championnat. Le joueur passé par l’AC Milan ou encore le FC Barcelone a finalement joué un rôle déterminant dans le maintien du Hertha BSC en Bundesliga.
